Solar Halo


This is what the sun looks like right this very second her in South Africa. It's 10 past 10 in the AM. This is called a Solar Halo. These rings are caused by ice crystals within thin cirrus clouds.

Its 11 am here in Ngodwana Mpumalanga, About 50km from nelspruit, and I have seen the Solar Halo. Its amazing!!!
